Privacy Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jiahe Biotech USA Inc. (“Whiteriver Bio”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through https://whiteriverbio.com and in the course of dealing with business customers and prospects.

We sell bulk ingredients to businesses. This site is not directed to consumers or to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Who is responsible for your information

Jiahe Biotech USA Inc., 17800 Castleton St, Suite 665, City of Industry, CA 91748, is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us about privacy at sales@whiteriverbio.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the request form or contact us, we collect your name, company, work email address, phone number if you give one, the products and volumes you ask about, your destination state or country and anything you write in your message.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These are used to keep the site secure and working.

Analytics. If you accept analytics in the cookie notice, Google Analytics records which pages you visit and how you reached the site. It is off unless you accept. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information such as health data or government identifiers.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and provide quotations, samples and documents.
  • To set up and manage a customer account, fulfil orders and meet our record-keeping obligations.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse, including spam submissions.
  • To comply with law, including import, tax and food-safety record requirements.

We send marketing email only where you have asked for it or where the law allows us to contact an existing business customer about similar products. Every marketing email identifies us, gives our postal address and includes a working unsubscribe link.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing that contract; our legitimate interests in running and securing our business and responding to business enquiries; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent, where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We disclose information to:

  • Service providers that host this site, process form submissions, provide analytics and email and run our customer records, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
  • Logistics providers, customs brokers and laboratories, where needed to ship or document an order.
  • The manufacturer of an ingredient, where needed to answer a technical or quality question you have raised.
  • Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
  • A successor to our business in a merger or sale, subject to this policy.

International transfers

We operate in the United States and work with manufacturers and service providers in other countries, including China. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we use an approved transfer mechanism such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are kept for up to 24 months. Customer and transaction records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the period required by tax, import and food-safety law. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. Residents of U.S. states with privacy laws, including California, also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email sales@whiteriverbio.com. We will verify your identity using the information we already hold and respond within the time the law allows. You may use an authorised agent. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is no opt-out to exercise. Analytics runs only with your consent, and a Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a decline.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee security.

This site may link to third-party sites, such as regulators’ pages. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will give more prominent notice.
